I wanted to like this book - I love m/m books and I love PI books. But I just didn't like the characters. They never quite meshed for me. I found the too staid PI who had issues with his father oddly weak (don't smoke in the car, ok, you are smoking in the car - why is that charming on anyone's part?) Lots of the conversation was hard for me to follow and I didn't find that anyone had a unique voice. Also Noah was a cipher. We start with his point of view but then switch and don't hear from him again and don't know what he wants at all. I felt like I was at a party, where everyone was noisy and sexy but I didn't get the jokes and after a while I was just bored... I let it go and didn't make myself finish it. I thought Stay With Me was an awesome book, but So Into You topped that one. I love the series. I love this book! It was filled with lots of humor and hot sex. Author did not disappoint. Will continue to buy books from this author in the future. Highly recommended, but if you did not read Stay With Me, read that one first.
